What is Gempathetic?

The ability to offer empathy (Gempathy) or sympathy, whether it be real or sycophantic, to someone who has no problem that actual requires consolation.

Jane: "My best friend's mother's cousin's teacher's dog died yesterday. I'm really cut up about it."

Gempathetic Person: "I can understand how hard it must be for you. Is there anything I can do to ease your suffering?"
