What is G-nelling?

When one selects to spend time with a girlfriend or video-game friends, instead of hanging out with friends who one has already said he will hang out with.
Fictitious example: Drew said he would join in a BFME2 game, but instead went G-Nelling.
Possibly Fictitious Example 2: We went to house across the street and Anonymous Arena'd or G-Nelled instead of join in the game.
