A toothless light gnawing, nibbling with the lips or gums only etc.
*Gnoms on someones hair*. The baby gnommed on a teether.

Insult used to insult people, it never works doh... usually used about people smaller than you because when you think about gnomes you (or atleast I) think about small creatures. They are also usually somewhat crazy looking... An other way of saing it is 'nome.
"You little gnome!"
"You little bastard of a 'nome!"
