The process by which someone tries very hard at something. For example if a guy is trying really hard to get with a girl, or talking to her a lot he is "going hard". Also if someone is trying really hard at practice when everyone else is fucking around they are "going hard".

Adam- "Yeah he was going so hard."

Jake- "Yeah he goes hard."
