Goif is a ubiquitous word, which infers "whatever" but in a more flippant, dismissive way.

Derived from the word goive, goif is a means to express one's disinterest in something or someone. The original word, goive, was coined by students at Winchester College, once spread, the word goive was changed to goif by students at Charterhouse school wanting to "recoin" the word as their own.
