What is Goodfic?

A well-written fanfic; characters stay in-character or canon and story portrays an original and/or believable plot. Free of spelling/grammatical errors and plot holes.

Antonym: badfic

Jenny: Man, that fan fiction author really knows how to write goodfic. They wrote Harry perfectly in-character, and that plot was original and believable.

Liz: I agree. Their original female character (OFC) wasn't even a Mary-Sue!
