Also known as a sub-species of the pelican, a goombus is a someone who is really not aesthetically beautiful at all, or even particularly intelligent, but manages to lure in numerous members of the opposite sex with goofy and floppy movements.

Also manages to find themselves at the hottest parties, without being invited; also see 'nudge'
