What is Goreburn?

When you see an image that is so graphic, so brutal, so disturbing, that the image is permantly burned in your mind. It usually continues to pop in and out your mind for the following few days. Every so ofter you will be somewhere and then the image will just be in your mind and you will cringe.
Two girls and a finger left me with a goreburn that took weeks to go away.
