Grande

What is Grande?

1.

A spanish word, supposedly meaning "large", bastardized by the Starbucks marketing machine to mean medium; their 16oz coffee.

I hate going into a Starbuck'sfor coffee. The dumbassbaristas always treat me like an idiot because I confuse a "Tall, "Grande" and "Vente". Grande is spanish for large, right? "Short" is the only size that makes any sense and "Vente" is an Italian word! WTF is that?! Why can't they just call them small, medium, large and extra large anyway?

See starbucks, large, medium, small, tall, grande, coffee, cafe, idiot, idiocy, stupid, stupidity, barista, shop, joe, java, mocha, latte, cappuccino, espresso, lame, beat, caffeine, pretentious, seattle, bastardize, retarded

2.

1 million. Pronounced like the Starbucks coffee size. If large is a thousand then grande should be 1 million. NOT to be confused with grand which of course is old school for thousand. If you want to be really hip place an accent mark over the e.

My net worth is over 5 grande

See large, million, grand, starbucks
