What is Green Metal?

A sub genre of metal very similar to stoner metal, which is to say that it's written by and for smokers of marijuana. The genre is defined largely by the listeners and players, but the sound tends to have elements of thrash, and doom.
The NC band H.O.W. plays green metal.
Early Man, Saviours, And High On Fire are decent examples of green metal.
