What is Groomer?

The Operator of what's called a 'SnowCat'.
They typically groom the slopes that we all board and ski on.
They tidy it up. Make it smooth so the rest of us can enjoy a nice, even, ride.
They're usually guys.

Negative word that is used to describe snowboarders that just slide down the side of a slope and scrape the powder off. Often used by experienced skiers, this name has become very common and is now being loosely used for a "beginning snowboarder"
