What is Guildford?
1.
Actually quite a good city. Has pretty much everything you need, and it's small enough to get to know your local chinese/chip shop guy. Plenty of things to do, and fun things too (gasp what a surprise). Don't believe what the other guy said about it, I've gotten far enough to afford broadband and a decent computer. And send my kids to private school. His definition is here
You wanna hit the clubs in Guildford?
Ahh, I went to the Guildford Spectrum the other day. Was good.
You know, Guildford is actually a city.

a verb that describes the act of altering images. In it's earliest form, the "Guildford Technique" was a term used to describe the act of "image withdrawal". During the Renaissance period, artists such as Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti (March 6, 1475 – February 18, 1564), scraped away unwanted bits of their frescoes with a basic palette knives or sweat-soaked rags. "Guildfordisimo" was soon thereafter established on the streets of Tuscany as the colloquial term used to describe "a change of thought". In Florence, Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci (April 15, 1452 – May 2, 1519) felt the pangs of artistic oppression when he was told to "Guildfordo quella pittura".
Almost 500 years later, this term is still in use in the field of digital imagery. Some of the greatest commercial photographers in the world have published books on the subject of "guildfordization" and "guilfordry", forever embedding this word in the hearts and jargon of artists and photographers world-wide.
e.g. Can you Guildford this picture and remove my mother-in-law from my wedding photos, mate?

And that makes me sad too because not one of them is single and/or interested in me :(
