What is Gunstar Heroes?

One of the best platform/shooting games ever released on the SEGA Genesisby Treasure(tm). Even though it was made in 1993, the game is still a blast to play, literally.

The game was later surpassed by a kickass platform-shooter called Alien Soldier in 1995, which was also made by Treasure(tm).

Holy shit! Gunstar Heroes actually has tons of boss battles and 3D effects which really pushed the Genesis to its hardware limits.
