A person of Portuguese heritage or other swarthy ancestry who, in order to hide their shame, attempt to pass themselves off as Italian. Any of the mongrelized Mediteranean peoples who's culture is inferior to the Italians, (i.e. - Maltese, Cretans, Sicilians, Cypriots and Sardinians).
