To pull a Hadfield is to completely blow something out of proportion.
Hadfield: I made this awsome catch in cricket today, i dived about 5 meters and the caught it even though it broke my hand!
Other person: Right....
Hadfield: Every time i see that girl i throw up in my mouth.
Other person: Dude shes just an ugly girl, i doubt your actually sick.
