One night at a Chico State party a friend was leaving to hook-up with a girl and out of nowhere my friend yells to him "halihoopla, get er' done buddy". It has come be an expression of something like "good shit, see you later" or "good job".
DAN: "Kelib, I'm going to the gym to get huge."
KELIB: "All right bubby, see you when you get back, halihoopla!"
