Hallrat Edit Meaning

A variation of the mallrat. A surly teenager who spends all of his or her time hanging around - on, next to, underneath the town hall stepsin small clusters. Typically seen sitting around glaring at passers-by and smoking but throughtout the duration of the day does not actually engage in any other activities. If bored by Town Hall, they typically gather up friends and head to Hyde Park for a change of scenery and to sit and smoke closer to nature.
