way of communicating to a peer who is sitting right next to you by putting your hand to your ear like a phone and having a conversation with them.
Katy: Hey Kelsie pick up your phone!
Kelsie: Hey katy! Whats up?
Teacher: What are you doing?
Kelsie and Katy: What does it look like? We are handyphoning! Duh!
