This may be caused by a temporary hormonal imbalance and/or by temporary fatigue within certain areas of the brain. Effects can last up to 24 hours, but may be offset by physical fatigue, which inhibits the desire for strenuous physical activity.
We didn't get out of bed until noon today. My husband had a severe case of hangover horniness.
