What is Hannanakat?

From the slanguish language of the Koura populace (Lebanon).
1-Mythological creature: Name of a midget dwarf living in the sewers of the city of Fih. Feared and renowned by his carnivorous appetite for kids.
Thus nowadays to scare and discipline their children, mothers in el Koura( a Lebanese region) use this legendary beast.
2-An expression mainly used in Al Balamand (Koura region) to express despise towards someone.
3- An endangered species living in Lebanon (middle east) they mainly live in high altitude regions.
Researchers in the Balamand University environment faculty claim having spotted the creature near the Balamandian campus. But unfortunately no pictures were taken for "the beast was very quick and swift" as noted the balamandian researchers.
