What is Hanxiety?

N. The feeling of agitation caused by a combination of hunger and a lack of or limited supply of food. Symptoms include irrationality and mood swings. When patient comes into contact with food they often attempt to hoard it or binge eat.
Some patients also report cases of extreme hanxiety when sharing a food from a common dish. The patient becomes hanxious that he or she will not receive his or her fair share.
