Why should we force limitations on others? Instead of saying 'Have a good day,' simply say 'Have a good.' They can have whatever kind of 'a good' they want to, and you can save yourself at least one syllable.
"I'll see you later."

"I said have a good."
"Have a good what?"
"That's entirely up to you, now isn't it."
