This is when you wake up not only with bad breath but worse, with an icky film on your teeth.
I can guarantee you that he woke up with some fuzz on his teeth! (This was in reference to Whitefield defending the institution of slavery in Georgia.) This example is to show that even the great Whitefield had common problems (morning breath +) too and wasnt perfect.
