What is Hlp?

Acronym for Hetero Life Partner. A HLP is one half of a heterosexual same-gender pair who celebrate a special bond of friendship by completing activities normally reserved for traditional (romantic) couples such as going on dinner dates, hikes, brunches, to the movies, etc. together.

J.D. and Turk, Jay and Silent Bob, Romy and Michelle, Hiro and Ando are HLP's forever.
