What is Hnl?
1.
An acronym for 'Hole Naba Lebel.' There are many other ways to say it and spell it. This phrase originated from a skit on the popular late-night comedy show, MADtv, by comedian Keegan-Michael Key's character, Eugene Struthers. In the skit, Eugene is a courier who encounters a variety of well-known actors, who are guest stars on various episodes of the show, while he is delivering packages to a number of destinations.
HNL is best said when a person or event does something wonderfully unheard/unseen of or does something better than what was previously done. It is usually preceded by "took it to the."
