What is Hobo Build?

A computer that omits luxuries such as a case and a CD rom drive. The lowest possible cost to build a computer. It usually only consists of a motherboard, one stick of ram, the cheapest possible processor, and a flash drive for "storage". Typically runs a linux distro due to low system requirements. Also usually seen sitting in a custom cardboard "case".
Done by first time computer builders in fear of building the computer wrong and it ending in an explosion of a wasted $800, or, hence the name, the homeless who have found enough computer parts to put together a computer that just barely works.
I'm too poor to afford a real computer case, come look at my hobo build.
