1. Items similar to those you recycle, but redeemable for a cash refund.

2. Any object normally thrown away which is worth something to someone else.

3. An important part of an informal economy.

"hey, don't just throw that bottle and that can away, put it in the homelessable container. Don't you know that things worth4 cents!"
