What is Honeyhead Kid?

A honeyhead kid, honey-head kid, or honey head kid, is a child who covers his or her head in honey and then actively seeks out bears (mostly Grizzly bears) to give them a hug. The percentage of Honeyhead Kids increased during the late '60s and early '70s due to the popularity of the CBS TV series "Gentle Ben".
