What is Hoogh?

An excited, loud hoogh with open mouth and teeth showing is one that expresses excitement, enthusiasm, joy and almost any positive emotion. To show anger, teeth are bared with the mouth in an overbite position and the hoogh is expressed with a low, gravelly, angry noise.
