What is Hoop Star?

guy who has hoop dreams all his life, and finally, one day, the time comes for him to step up, and become the big man on campus. However, once a Hoop Dreams, always a Hoop Dreams, and the Hoop Star will find a way to fuck things up and return to a Hoop Dreams. Most often at the game winning point of a great athletic competition.
"Hey Ben, go long!"
