What is Hor D'oeurves?

These are one to two bite snacks served at most dinner parties. They are often packed with flavor and are generally cold although there can be some hot items.
The hor d'oeurves were increbily good.
a hot hor d'oeurve could be mini spring rolls while a cold hor d'oeurve could be smoked salmon with a dill cream cheese on a cracker.
