The act of skirting unnecessary regulations or procedure for convenience in reaching worthwhile ends.
The opposite of bureaucracy, a true "hotstyle" is accomplished by ignoring any red tape or obstacles and doing the bare minimum amount of due diligence to get something done within gray areas of accepted policy and the law.
Angela: Wasn't Jim supposed to fill out the insurance paperwork before we sent the kids to the pool?
Anthony: Yeah...we were all really busy so we kinda hotstyled it.
