What is House Of G?

Another name for Glassons, a New Zealand chain store selling cheap women's clothing. For various disputed reasons, many people refer to Glassons as "The House of G". Does this nickname make Glassons sound cooler, in a self-depecrating kind of way? Or does it make Glassons more shameful than before? Thankfully, due to the introduction of Supre, buying clothes from the House Of G is not such the source of ridicule it once was.
Person a: "That top is cool"
Person b: (sheepishly) "Ahem. It's from House of G"
