Short for 'Had To Be There' When relating a story, sometimes you realize after telling it that the effect had to be witnessed in person to be fully understood.

Dave: "John didn't really seem to think my story of spilling the beer was funny."

A really in word used by dumbass bimbos, meaning 'had to be there'. Commonly used by the said trampy whores in order to make other people feel like they've missed out on something amazingly amusing, when in reality, the funny event was just lame and stupid.
