The many home-grown writers, musicians and artists in Hull - including an oddly overwhelming number of successful bands - are the usual suspects in the creation of a lively nightlife and of an enabling environment for the ready and willing Hullcoholics.
Note for the record Hull City's head-whackingly close Premier League status, which reportedly contributed to a recent spike in registered Hullcoholic tigers as well.
