What is Humanitas?
1.
A high school program involving classes between AE and honors. Students work as a team with devoted teachers that are chosen by the school's Humanitas coordinator. They go on field trips inside and outside of school, that involve whatever it is they study in class. Classes link certain subjects together; for example, if in History, students are learning about the industrial revolution, they might read something in English class by an author writing during that time period. Humanitas is a kickass program, and everyone in it is part of the family.
That was an awesome Humanitas field trip we took to the play-house.
