Imagined Cell Phone Vibration Syndrome
Occurs when a person has his or her cell phone set to vibrate and keeps it in his or her pocket. The owner feels the phone vibrate and upon checking it, discovers that there was no activity on the phone that caused it to vibrate.
Benney was anxious to hear back from Charlotte, he kept checking his phone like he had a bad case of ICPVS. When she finally texted him, he didn't know whether it was worth it to pull the phone out of his pocket.
