What is In Tow?

"In Tow" is a phrase that is used by Mexicans with Green Cards to indicate that they are towing an old, scrappy vehicle to sell in Mexico for very cheap. It is usually written on the back window of the said vehicle.

When I went to the gas station in Louisiana, I saw some Mexicans towing a Ford Ranger. On the back of the truck, it said "in tow"
