1) Financial term used when there is little to no money in your bank account. (Or at least not enough to buy whatever the hell you were buying.) Alas, insufficient funds is the story of many lives and creates embarrassment and frustration to all who receive this unwanted reminder.

2) Term used to express distaste or rejection over a situation, a comment, a person, (etc).

- "Shit son, i tried to buy some Taco Bell, and I got insufficient funds on my card!"

- "I don't like your boyfriend Alyssa, he's got some insufficient funds if you know what I mean"
