What is Internal Detonation?

When squeezing a spot and all the hall marks of it popping are there, i.e pain and a crunching sensation/noise, but any puss or fluids havent been ejected from the body but have burst under the skin and are still internal.
"I had a well painfull spot the other day, but it didnt burst properly, just internal detonation"
