A person who is loudly singing along to his/her iPod in public and does not realize that other people can hear. Term derived from "American Idol", where people who are poor singers often audition and belt it out like they're the next big thing.
Dude with iPod (loudly and off key): We gonna party like it's your birthday, sip Bacardi like it's your birthday...
Bystander to Friend: Yep, he's an iPod Idol.
