basically short for ipod popping, general showing off or stunting with your ipod.
On the train going into manhattan u can see a lot of people with ipods in their hands in all sorts of flashy cases and styles.
Ray: hey mike check out that guy with the ipod in a leapard print case
Mike: yeah that kid is I-POPPING like it's his job
