What is Israelite?

A descendant of Jacob/Israel.
All Israelites are Semites (descendants of Shem), but, not all Semites are Israelites. All Israelites are Hebrew (descendants of Abraham), but, not all Hebrews are Israelites. All Jews (descendants of Judah) are Israelites, but, not all Israelites are Jews.
An Israeli is a citizen of Israel, and may or may not be an Israelite.
