Ivo, in this particular case, is the American first name of the classic and well-known villian in the <i>Sonic the Hedgehog</i> series of games, "Dr. Robotnik". Also known as "(Dr.)Eggman".
Dr. Ivo Robotnik is a highly-intelligent scientist and mechanic who creates robots and other mechanical devices and beings to terrorize the entire planet on which he resides. This is in attempt to take over the world in order to rule it however he sees fit. However, always there to stop him are Sonic the Hedgehog and friends.
