In tradition, if one is caught with jackburn on his/ her cigarette they are to pay a fee decided by the group of regular smokers and put into a: "Jackburn jar" Once enough money is accumilated to buy one new pack of cigarettes you can say: "This one's on Jackburn" This was inspired by a friend that was always careless with his cigarettes.
"You're wasting your cigarette! Look at all that Jackburn!"
"Ha, you have jackburn! that's $1. 00 in the jackburn jar."
