What is Jai Shri Ram?
1.
Hindi for "Victory to Lord Ram", referring to the Hindu deity Rama.
A common slogan used by the ultra-right Hindu nationalist groups in India, such as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and its underlings, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP).
"When will Hindus cure our Bharat (nation) of the Muslim and Christian disease? Stand up now for your Bharat. Jai Shri Ram! Jai Shri Ram!"

2.
A holy chant advocating loyalty to the Hindu god Emperor Rama, who, in the pauranic scriptures of Hinduism,
stood for honesty, chivalry, fairness, justice and equality for all. Anti-Hindu Communists and Islamic fascists who mean to exterminate Hindus through a systematic campaign of genocide and terrorism often distort the meaning and associate it to Hindu Nationalists, who have many moderate Muslims and Christians in their fold and are working to build peace and harmony between all communities India, with the exception of fringe nuts like Bajrang Dal, of course. The allegation is an anti-Hindu propaganda tactic, incorporating stereotyping and scapegoating to demonize Hindus through the left-wing controlled Indian media and ultimately bring about the genocide of Hindus as is going on in Pakistan, Kashmir and Bangladesh by Fanatic Muslims and Northeastern India by Fanatic Christians and ultra-extremist Naxalite Communists.
Jai Shri Rama, peace to all, freedom to all.
