What is Jakin' It?

1. (verb) To be putting in maximum effort to appear extremely cool, whilst appearing to be very relaxed and acting completely normal, for instance for a bloke to attract female attention in a bar.

2. (verb) One can claim to be "jakin' it" as an excuse when one doesn't really know what on earth one is doing, but one wants to appear cool nevertheless.

Origin: Taken from the famous line by the character Jake in the internet game Booty Call.

Woman: "Hey honey, what you up to?"

Jake: "Aw, I'm just Jakin' it..."

Mate 1: "Yo Nick, what are you doing in the bogs for so long?"
