What is Janitating?

verb. the act of doing janitor type tasks. such as sweeping and cleaning up vomit after a party. Also can be used when cleaning/defusing up a bad situation.
"A beer exploded in the kitchen and now Zwicky is janitating the kitchen."
"After the fight between Glen and the janitor, Tony and Johnny are janitating the charges against Glen."
