What is Jay Arthur?

1. Taken from the old Cockney rhyming (London) slang "Jay Arthur Tank" for "wank" or "wanker" ("jerk" in the American diction). Used mostly to rephrase the phoenetic vulgarity of words such as "wanker".
3. Can be used to cunningly/artfully to describe a man with no real friends. a "Jay Arthur" = a total wanker.

"Jay Arthur" in a modern context may be used a to dub a ridiculously self-loving person that likes to use words such as "psycho" abundantly and "real" philosophically without being able to actually define those words correctly and, ironically, embodies and personifies those very words he uses without realizing it. see
4. A dub for a person with possible incestual tendencies due to lack of any real social acknowledgement.
