What is Jersey Baby?

An unwanted child; typically discarded in a trash can or dumpster after being birthed. The term does not imply that said refuse-baby is abandoned in Jersey or New Jersey.
Despite the above statement, the term was indeed coined after a number of such baby-discards in the state of New Jersey (USA) occurred in a short period of time.
Some say that a more elaborate definition of Jersey Baby requires covering the child with plastic wrap prior to trashing it, so that nobody hears its cries.
They found another Jersey Baby in the trash behind Arby's the other day, covered in plastic wrap and horsey sauce.
